In 2019, BFEF assisted our local elementary school with an outdoor conservation project funded through a local grant. BFEF reimbursed the agency for all of the supplies and the children assembled and helped place the collection tubes & stations, which will allow anglers to recycle their discarded fishing line in a safe manner thus helping keep our waterways free of used fishing line. These collection tubes were placed at various fishing areas for anglers' easy access. Here are some pictures of the kids working on them and the finished product.
